Parking Permit Fee

A vehicle parking permit is no longer required for day visits.

Popular Park Features

The park offers access to one of the warmest saltwater beaches in the state. Wading, swimming and oyster and crab harvesting are immensely popular.

In addition to Twanoh, camping is also available at two nearby state parks. Potlatch State Park and Belfair State Park are both within a 20 minute drive from Twanoh. Belfair State Park accepts camping reservations. Camping at Potlatch State Park is first-come first-served basis. There are also hotels in nearby Belfair as well.

Twanoh State Park

Camping Facilities

The park has 25 tent spaces, 22 utility spaces, two restrooms and one shower. Maximum site length is 35 feet (may have limited availability). Gathering firewood is not allowed, but packaged firewood is available for purchase from the campground or local stores, when either are open. All campsites are first-come, first-served.

Shared Campsites: Most people camp at Twanoh, and often share sites with others from SSTIKS. If you arrive late with a tent we will find room for you. RV space is limited so arrive early or make reservations at Belfair State Park.

Speed Limit: The campground has a 10mph speed limit. Please ensure you follow the speed limit so we can continue to use the park.

Camping Fees

Please note that the following general fee information is not customized for each individual park, so not all fees will apply to all parks (for example, primitive campsite and dump station fees listed apply only to parks that have primitive campsites and dump stations).

Check-out time, 1 p.m.
Quiet hours: 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Recycling

We are trying to reduce the amount of waste we generate. It would make a big difference if you use your own re-usable water bottle and coffee cup. It would also be great if you could take your recyclables home with you but, if you cannot, we will provide recycling containers for glass, cans, and plastic bottles and volunteers will take to the recycling center after we all finish playing.

Cell Phone Coverage

Cell phone reception can be limited in the park; check the service maps for your provider. Pay phones are also available in the park.
